I'm having surgery on my spine next week. I'm having discs taken out from between my vertebrae for a fancy hybrid surgery. On one level it will be a spinal fusion and on the level above that I'll be having an artificial disc put in to replace my damaged one. Titanium hardware and all I should be able to walk the same day as surgery, which I think is pretty amazing! I'm not sure how long I'll be out of commission, but I hope I can get back to painting and posting as soon as possible. It's been feeling good to post a few new things lately. It's something that I've missed a hell of a lot since I've been injured for the last two years. The pain has kept me from doing A LOT of things, including painting. I can't wait to be normal again, I'm getting my life back!
